The archaeological zone "El Tlatoani" is located on one of the hills of Tlayacapan.

"El Tlatoani" is a hill with abundant vegetation and from its summit you can see the sunrise behind the "Sierra Nevada".

At the top of Tlatoani there is a pyramid, to get to it you follow a path and before arriving you will find a small cave. At the beginning of the road, you will find cave paintings and in rainy seasons you will be able to appreciate a small waterfall.
